I enjoy painting in the drip 'n pour style (no brushes). I work on drawing the viewer into the artwork so their minds eye completes the piece through recognition of subject form. I started experimenting in abstract impressionism back in high school. After serving in the military, I attended college and picked up where I left off. Back in the 80's I continued honing my skills and working with different mediums using particular styles with them. I studied plants and animals using pencils or charcoals then progressing to fiber-tip pens. Always fascinated with abstracts I started playing with more mediums until I came across the drip n pour style. My own personal belief is Pollock became stagnant after his fame and it allowed me to take this style to a whole new level. "What if you could insert subject or recognizable form into this drip n pour art style?" To date I have created some 60+ drip n pour art pieces.

I have posted different pieces into my site to show off my abilities and diversity of what I'm capable of. I have designed stationery greeting cards, landscapes and other subjects using pens, pencils, charcoals, brush and palette knife along with some of my drip n pour. I hope you enjoy them.

Happily married and living in Southern Illinois. Recently I have started to expand my talents in photography and continue to explore all facets.

My statement is simple. " I do not as an artist subscribe to the belief or theory that one must be disciplined in one style or medium. Art is the interpretation of a subject, whether it be internal or external, and my thought is that some mediums or styles work better than others. Therefore, if I have the ability to share my interpretations across a spectrum, then I should pursue that." I believe that my god-given talent for control with drip sticks should be shared.

The Artist does not share any views, by any Group or Individual. The image remains the property of the Artist, and written permission must be granted by the Artist, from any Organization,Group, or Individual, who wishes to use the image,in any form of publication."
