This painting, The Deal with The Devil by Curtis Roy is available for sale at www.etsy.com/shop/CurtisRoyArt.
In this original acrylic painting you see an enormous dragon holding a sword which symbolizes war. The dragon demands that the nobleman cross the river and stand before him. He represents the evil banker that will profit from lending money to finance both sides of a war. To the right, the nobleman on horseback wishes to make this deal with the devil, but the horse, sensing the presence of evil tries to escape to the safety of the rational world with which he has become familiar.

The optional vintage Baroque frame, circa 1980, is $300 and has a finished size of 30x34.

The painting measures 22x26 and is to be sold for $2,600. The price for the frame and painting together is $2,900. There will be no charge for shipping.
